The quality and reliability of the Company's products are the concern of every person in the organisation. All personnel shall ensure that all work within their area of responsibility fully complies with the customer's requirements. A "make it right first time" approach shall be adopted to ensure quality production, cost reduction, productivity and Customer satisfaction. The Company's Quality Policy at all times shall be relevant to the organisation's goals and needs and expectations of existing and potential customers, in order to build long term customer-supplier relationships, for mutual advantage and benefit. To achieve this objective:
a) All personnel shall comply with UFC Quality Manual, Quality procedures, Quality plans and job and work instructions;
b) Quality problems shall be promptly brought to the attention of the Quality Manager or Managing Director, and;
c) The methods of work shall be kept constantly under review and techniques improved whenever necessary.
d) The work environment shall be: safe, as pleasant as possible given the nature of the work and comply with all Workcover regulations. |
